What you are empowered to accomplish:
Plummer is looking for an industryrecognized leader to join and lead our Natural Systems and Environmental Services team in Florida. As Team Leader you will be serving as a thought leader to win strategic pursuits and implement quality projects. The Team Leader will guide business development act as a project manager and provide consistent quality for environmental regulatory and natural systems projects.

You will receive ongoing guidance leadership development and mentorship from the Florida Area Leader Natural Systems Practice Leader and Environmental Services Practice Leader.
Our Ideal Teammate:
- Experience with coastal and environmental restoration natural systems for stormwater or wastewater treatment and/or wetland mitigation
- Working within the National Environmental Protection Act (NEPA); Clean Water Act (CWA) including the National Pollutant Discharge and Elimination System (NPDES) program; and familiarity with the Safe Drinking Water Act.
- Understanding the science and regulations related to stormwater including Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plans (SWPPPs)
- Experience with applying for and securing state and federal funding for waterrelated and/or natural systems projects
- Permitting 404 or NPDES or equivalent
- Invasive species experience
Experience:
- Minimum of 7 years of experience working as an Environmental Scientist or Environmental Engineer in the Water Industry.
- Experience includes:
- Permitting and agency coordination with NEPA USACE Wetland Mitigation FDEP and EPA
- Minimum of5 years of experience working with ecosystemsin Florida
- Coastal and Environmental Restoration experience is a plus
- Federal and State grant writing experience is a plus
- Must have the ability to lead technical teams and deliver complex environmentaltypeprojects
- Must have the ability and mindset to develop new clients create new opportunities and win new work that alignswith Plummers growth strategy
- Must be actively involved in conferences and professional organizations
Duties and responsibilities:
- Drive market growth in Florida for environmental and natural systems projects
- Manage project resources schedules and budgets
- Deliver complex environmental projects
- Develop new clients create new opportunities and win work that aligns with Plummers growth strategy
- Develop relationships with clients regulators and partners
- Work across geographies to leverage staff to help with Floridabased projects
- Active involvement in conferences and professional organizations.
