Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Senior Agile Project Manager to lead the successful delivery of highimpact software and digital projects. This role is ideal for a proven Agile leader who can drive delivery in complex multistakeholder environments including government and regulated industries. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Agile project management stakeholder engagement and navigating structured governance processes while maintaining flexibility and innovation.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead Agile delivery of software and digital projects ensuring teams deliver highvalue outcomes within structured environments.
- Adapt delivery models when Agile delivery is not applicable and processes to optimize productivity and realistic scheduling.
- Develop and manage delivery roadmaps ensuring clear objectives dependencies and reporting structures.
- Work closely with crossfunctional teams external partners and senior stakeholders to align project goals and ensure successful outcomes.
- Navigate governance and assurance frameworks balancing Agile ways of working with necessary oversight and compliance.
- Engage with senior stakeholders ensuring alignment of project objectives with broader strategic goals.
- Identify and mitigate risks across the project lifecycle ensuring effective decisionmaking.
- Drive continuous improvement in Agile delivery fostering a culture of adaptability and efficiency.
- Manage budgets resources and contracts ensuring effective allocation and accountability.
- Support and mentor delivery teams in Agile best practices embedding effective ways of working.
- Act as a line manager and career coach where applicable.
- Provide clear and concise project updates to senior leadership and key decisionmakers.
Qualifications :
- Proven experience leading Agile projects in government public sector or other structured regulated environments.
- Proven experience working with crossfunctional multidisciplinary teams across departments and suppliers.
- First working experience with AI in any form of Project management dialy life or in project workstream.
- Strong understanding of governance procurement and assurance processes with the ability to balance Agile delivery with compliance requirements.
- Expertise in Agile methodologies (Scrum Kanban SAFe) and their practical application in structured organisations best proven by certifications and project cases.
- Strong leadership problemsolving and communication skills to drive project success and continuous improvement.
- Proven language skills in German and English (both C1 as a minimum)
- Bachelors degree in a relevant field; professional certifications such as PMI PMP PRINCE2 or PSM are a plus.
- Proficiency in project management tools such as JIRA Confluence Microsoft Project.
