Key Responsibilities:
Responsible for daily pre and post trip inspections of trucks assigned.
Complete daily routes as assigned by the Operations Manager
Provide exceptional onsite service to customers and continuously promotes GFLs service offerings.
Operate a box truck deliver products and pick up commercial wastes such as oil filters Plastics drums of automotive fluids as well as other related products. Also service Parts washers/Spray Gun Machines
Complete service paperwork in accordance with GFL and TDG regulations Ensure regular cleaning and maintenance of truck cab components and other assigned equipment.
Participate in GFLs safety programs including safety meetings last minute risk assessments and job hazard assessments.
Knowledge Skills & Competencies:
G/DZ/AZ Drivers License with a clean drivers abstract
DZ/AZ Ability to drive manual transmission (Required)
Available fulltime for day shift (810 hour shifts)
Exceptional organizational abilities with task prioritization multitasking use of timelines and time management techniques
Able to work independently.
Customer service experience
Selfmotivated attitude
Experience working in a safety sensitive environment.
Ability to work out of town and do potential overnights.
Must be flexible and dependable.
Strong work ethic
Excellent attention to detail
Ability to maintain a professional demeanor in difficult situations.
Overtime as required.
Ability to work in a fastpaced environment.
Manual dexterity ability to lift 75 lbs required.
Waste experience is considered an asset
