Location/Division Specific Information:
As part of the Pharma Services Group (PSG) the High Point NC site focuses on gelatinbased drug delivery dosage forms (softgels). We offer extensive development and commercial scale capabilities for a variety of softgels technologies.
How Will You Make an Impact:
The Post Production Associate will play a meaningful role in our Post Production Department by testing pulling product stacks inspecting polishing sizing weighing monitoring print quality packaging and palletizing products such as softgels and soflets as required.
A Day in the Life:
Inspect capsules on inspection trays removes defects such as odd shapes transfer marks and leakers.
Cleans all equipment machine parts and inspection or packaging room during a complete changeover by using brooms mops compressed air detergent towels 70% IPA and purified water.
Read and adhere to workplace procedures such as SOPs Batch Records cGMPs and MSDS memos.
Education:
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Experience:
- Required: No previous work experience required
- Preferred: Previous work experience in manufacturing operations production or lab setting or related field
- Meet DEA security clearance requirements if requested.
Physical Requirements / Work Environment
- Must be able to frequently lift/push/pull/carry up to 50 pounds
- Close and color vision is required
- Repetitive motions over a prolonged period including overhead lifting and reaching
