This position is responsible for the delivery of occupational therapy services to eligible exceptional education students.
SPECIFIC DUTIES QUALIFICATIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- To assess students referred for occupational therapy.
- To provide appropriate therapy for eligible exceptional education students.
- To consult with teachers and parents regarding therapy programs.
- To participate in IEP/Exceptional Childrens Program meetings when necessary.
- To maintain appropriate records as directed and required by school regulations and IDEA.
- Training and/or experience in pediatric occupational therapy required.
- Masters Degree in Occupational Therapy or related field licensed by the State of North Carolina to render occupational therapy services.
