ABOUT THE ROLE
We are seeking a new member of our editorial team who would be responsible for producing puzzle magazines puzzle products and puzzle content. You will be responsible for selecting commissioning preparing and editing all content for your product(s). That means planning and compilation of titles to deadline and with the utmost quality in mind. Youll also check and correct onpage material and that may mean proof reading or supervising proof reading. You will become one of the team who uphold Puzzlers reputation for accuracy integrity of puzzles and customer focus. You will take responsibility for all aspects of your content continually improving this and collaborating widely across the editorial team.
Some key responsibilities of the role include:
To be successful in this role you will have a superb command of English being creative in the use of language and humour. You will need to be organised logical and have meticulous attention to detail. You should be educated up to A Levels (or equivalent) ideally including Maths and English. Youll have a flexible approach and be open to change and challenge and have sound basic computer literacy so that you can pick up the software and systems we use easily. Most importantly you will have an enthusiasm for and knowledge of puzzles.

We would happily consider full and parttime applications. Our fulltime hours are 35 hours per week. Please make sure you note a preference for hours in your cover letter when you apply. This temporary position (6month fixedterm contract) is primarily homebased but you may be required to attend the office in Reigate from time to time and on occasion to attend events elsewhere.
