The School of Nursing facilitates the learning process of students in achieving the Doctor of Nursing Practice the Master of Science with an emphasis in education and the Bachelor of Science in Nursing Degrees. The school currently manages recruitment admission and retention of 230 undergraduate and 90 graduate students. National Accreditation through ACEN is maintained to insure delivery of quality nursing education. The Nurse Education Manager is a fulltime administrative professional position that is responsible for supporting graduate degree seeking nursing students throughout their educational experience at CSU Pueblo including onboarding new graduate students (including but not limited to new student orientation and support for enrollment) and providing support for current students (including but not limited to assisting students with navigating the systems and processes facilitating enrollment supporting students in career advancement learning opportunities and coordinating closely with the Director of the Graduate Nursing Programs and the Director of the School of Nursing should difficulties arise).This position is responsible for the coordination of student resources and services across multiple service areas (i.e. campus community and state). This position will also work with the School of Nursing and our partners to develop a model for recruitment and enrollment and resources for retention to build a sustainable model to address the nursing shortages while supporting new nurses and upskilling existing nurses into graduate degrees.
This position is grantfunded includes benefits and is renewable annually based on budgetary approvals and renewal of grant(s) as follows: Grow Where Youre Planted: Southern Colorado Partners Leading Advancement in Nursing Track (PLANT) Phase I Seed Grant of Regional Talent Initiative Program (Opportunity Now Colorado) agreement #ONSD0004. This position is currently funded through June 30th 2026.Minimum Qualifications
