Job Description
The Communications and Marketing Department at the Darden School of Business is looking for an energetic and highly organized marketing technology intern to help support our digital systems this summer.
This position involves working with the Enterprise Marketing team to support the launch of a new Contenthub and a Digital Asset Management System called Bynder. There also may be opportunities to work in digital design editorial and web site projects depending on the candidates experience and interests.
About the position:
Core functions include:
- Assisting with the launch of our digital asset management system
- Tagging and organizing digital photography and graphics
- Support training and assist users with the launch of Bynder
- Organize meetings with stakeholders.
- Migrate content into our Contenthub (Contentful)
You will work about 30 hours a week on these tasks. The position will work closely with the Senior Associate Director of Web Development and Technical Systems and Associate Director Brand Management. While also working collaboratively across the Enterprise Marketing team with graphic designers videographers and digital marketers to provide support on their projects.
This position follows a Monday Friday schedule with typical business hours. The position can be hybrid but wed expect to see you working here at least three days a week inperson.
The ideal candidate will have some experience with digital media and technology or is eager to learn them. Some experience with photo editing software is preferred but not required.
Job duration: June. 2025 through August 2025
Compensation: $15/hr.
Desired skills:
- Strong organizational and time management skills with attention to detail
- Interest in or experience with digital media marketing technology or content management systems
- Familiarity with or willingness to learn digital asset management platforms (e.g. Bynder)
- Basic knowledge of photo editing software (e.g. Adobe Photoshop Lightroom) is a plus
- Comfort with web and digital tools; experience with website platforms or content editing is a bonus
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively across teams
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in scheduling meetings and coordinating with multiple stakeholders
- Eagerness to learn new software and support user training efforts

PHYSICAL DEMANDS
This is primarily a sedentary job involving extensive use of desktop computers. The job does occasionally require traveling some distance to attend meetings.
