Job Summary:
The Senior Regional Engineer plays a key role in delivering comprehensive datacenter solutions ensuring the successful execution of technical projects while effectively communicating progress against documented plans. This includes expertise in routing switching firewalls and Microsoftbased technologies to support a wide range of enterprise IT infrastructure needs. As a subject matter expert this individual will provide advanced technical expertise within their area of specialization and may be responsible for setting the technical direction during the sales cycle and supporting solution design across multiple locations. This role involves delivering Advanced Services both remotely (via WebEx or similar platforms) and onsite as required. The Senior Regional Engineer will collaborate closely with Account Managers Inside Sales Engineers (ISEs) Engagement Architects (EAs) Project Managers (PMs) and Solution Architects (SAs) to provide seamless service delivery. Given the dynamic nature of this role strong time management and prioritization skills are essential to handle multiple client engagements simultaneously. Additionally the Senior Regional Engineer will be responsible for handling ad hoc technical services for smaller projects as well as stepping in to assist customers during critical situations including outages cybersecurity incidents and other priority issues. This position reports directly to the VP of Engineering for the region.
Summary of Essential Job Functions:
REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
5 7 years of experience in Microsoft technologies including infrastructure migrations upgrades troubleshooting implementation with experience in at least three of the following areas:
