Key Responsibilities:Sustain a productive and motivated workforce by screening selecting hiring training and developing and evaluating personnel required to meet service to all wage and hour laws and compensate personnel for services rendered in accordance with established progressive discipline with all employee performance safe working conditions at each and operate landfill operations to best utilize personnel and an annual review on each employees job performance evaluation and submit for approval any changes to an employees and conduct safety meetings and document attendees and topics covered. Ensure employees follow safety guidelines and perform duties in a safe and review productivity standards at each phase of the and preserve all an effective safety program that seeks to prevent accidents avoid injuries and recognize safe accidents and prepare necessary operator observations are completed on a routine basis. Ensure proper supply and usage of all safety equipment as in all respects with applicable laws regulations ordinances and other orders and to all company policies procedures and directives from other duties and responsibilities as required or requested by :Bachelors Degree from four (4) year college or university and/or have a demonstrated record of serving in an operational environment requiring analytical and general management (3) or more years experience in the waste or landfill industry or equivalent combination of required education and with operation of dump truck bull dozer compactor track hoe loader and and maintain the SWANA Manager of Landfill Operations Skills and Abilities:Working knowledge of the equipment required to operate a with nonhazardous waste regulations at every excellent leadership communication and management ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules instruction and procedure manuals construction & permit drawings and general correspondence. Physical/Mental Demands:Ability to stand sit walk use hands and fingers reach stoop kneel crouch talk hear climb balance and Requirements: include close vision distance vision color vision peripheral vision depth perception and ability to adjust to regularly lift/move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift/move up to 20 pounds. Working Conditions:Work in outdoor environment 70% 80% of the exposed to loud noise humidity hot and cold weather conditions moving mechanical parts vibration toxic and caustic chemicals fumes and airborne work in high precarious level is usually moderate.
