Overview
This position is integral to the new Wake Forest Primate Research Center (WFPRC) requires a highly motivated and organized individual with the scientific and biomedical knowledge to facilitate key WFPRC activities including working closely with the Director in interactions with members the Internal Steering Committee the External Advisory Board; assisting with pilot grant reviews and tracking of progress; coordinating with the Biorepository team; assisting with planning of grant development strategy sessions; assisting with the assembly of grant applications; and outreach via the web and in person to collaborators and students.
Required Qualifications
Masters or Doctorallevel biomedical scientist with eight years experience in the management of research projects and data. Primary desired expertise for this position includes: A biomedical research background; commitment to a career in support of nonhuman primate research; strong organizational and interpersonal skills; basic data management and graphing/statistical abilities. A secondary desirable qualification is: Prior nonhuman primate work experience
