You will be updated with latest job alerts via emailThe National Leasing Agent is responsible for driving leasing performance across assigned markets communities and properties. This role is critical to ensuring the efficient leaseup of new developments in the national portfolio. The agent is accountable for meeting key performance indicators (KPIs) including occupancy targets net operating income (NOI) goals and overall leasing objectives.
In jurisdictions where the agent is not licensed they are expected to use sound judgment and defer any licensed leasing activities to appropriately credentialed personnel in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Property Marketing: Promote upcoming properties at least two weeks prior to their anticipated completion date.
Lead Management: Respond to all inquiries and information requests in a timely and professional manner.
Lead Nurturing: Maintain consistent communication with leads through phone calls texts and email campaigns to maximize conversion.
Application Processing: Collaborate with the coordination team to process applications and generate leases for assigned properties.
Workflow Coordination: Effectively manage workload and timelines in partnership with the assigned coordinator to ensure efficiency and accuracy.
Resident Experience: Set clear expectations with applicants and future residents ensuring a smooth onboarding and movein experience.
Issue Escalation: Proactively alert company leadership to issues or concerns of significance and ensure timely escalation and resolution.
Underwriting Support: Participate in the underwriting of new assets by conducting market research preparing comparative market analyses (CMAs) and supporting assumption development.
Team Leadership: Guide and share best practices with onsite leasing agents and thirdparty leasing teams to promote consistency and excellence.
Market Analysis: Analyze leasing trends rental comps and economic indicators such as infrastructure employment and education to assess asset positioning and investment viability.
Process Facilitation: Coordinate all stages of the leasing processfrom lead generation to lease signing and moveinensuring seamless transitions and stakeholder alignment.
Marketing Strategy: Assist in the development and execution of marketing plans for new buildforrent (BFR) communities.

Education and Experience Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Active Florida Real Estate License required.
Willingness to obtain other real estate licenses as requested.
Yardi Voyager experience is a plus.
Rently experience is a plus.
Familiarity with local housing ordinances and eviction processes.
Indepth understanding of fair housing laws.
Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively in a remote team environment.
Intermediate proficiency in computer applications with a willingness to learn new software systems.
Solid knowledge of rental property management standards and best operational practices.
Highly collaborative and team oriented.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong customer service orientation.
Working Conditions
Duties may be performed indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
Must be able to sit or stand for extended periods climb stairs multiple times daily and lift up to 30 lbs.
Weekend availability is required.
Travel to designated markets may be necessary.
A designated home office space is required.
Schedule
This is a fulltime position: MondayFriday and alternating Saturday coverage with teammates.
