Position Details:

Our Primary Care practice in Oxford is looking for a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our growing team. Youll work alongside experienced providers with excellent support staff in a welllocated easily accessible officejust minutes from local shops restaurants and the Quarry Walk. We offer a flexible schedule competitive compensation a great team dynamic and a chance to make a real impact in the community.

Role: Open to Nurse Practitioners (APRN) and Physician Assistants (PA)

Location: Oxford CT

Setting: 100% Outpatient Primary Care Adult Medicine (18)

Schedule: Parttime weekdays only! May be able to accommodate fulltime if desired.

Call schedule: No call required

Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants Role Scope:

Under established guidelines and in collaboration and/or supervision with the practice physician(s) Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants perform routine physical examinations and formulate medical educational and psychosocial plans to treat patients.

In consultation with the physician(s) and care team members Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants develop plans for further evaluation of health needs e.g. referral to other health team members or specialists.

Nurse Practitioners or Physician Assistants provide appropriate treatment for problems within the scope of the providers practice as designated by protocols and identifies problems outside of their scope of practice and refers appropriately to physician.

Requirements:

Licensure: Unrestricted State of Connecticut Medical License (or eligible)

Training: APRN (Family Adult/Geri Nurse Practitioner) or PA

Experience: 2 years experience in a primary care or relevant outpatient setting
