FirstLine Product & Services Quality Manager (2nd Shift)

Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is looking for a FirstLine Product and Service Quality Manager (Level K) to support the Emergent Operations Quality team primarily in Everett Washington on 2nd shift. This position will require weekly travel to Renton Washington and the ability to support any shift as required by the needs of the business.

Fabrication Quality is looking for a leader to join the Emergent Operations Quality Team as a firstline leader! This second shift role will be responsible for the EONorth Quality teams located in Everett and Renton. This team is engaged in Airplane Program support in the form of Composite Repair Airplane Assist Shim Fabrication Bluestreak. In addition this team supports emergent tube and duct support to Airplane Programs at these locations. This position partners closely with operations and Airplane Programs leadership to ensure timely resolution of emergent needs during airplane manufacturing.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Manages employees who evaluate and ensure that products services and processes comply with customer contract requirements engineering requirements company procedures and government regulations

  • Develops and executes business plans policies and procedures and develops organizational and technical strategies to improve performance

  • Provides education and coaching on the Quality System

  • May make airworthiness determinations on behalf of the company and regulatory agencies

  • Acquires and manages resources and leads process improvements

  • Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers stakeholders peers partners suppliers and direct reports

  • Manages develops and motivates employees

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • 3 years of experience leading teams in a formal and /or informal role

  • 3 years of experience in developing and implementing process improvements

  • 3 years of experience managing direct reports

  • Capable of traveling up to 50% of the time (within the Puget Sound)

  • Willing to work a 2nd Shift

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • 3 years of experience in Root Cause Corrective Action (RCCA) and Corrective Action Preventive Action (CAPA)

  • 3 years of experience performing Material Review Board (MRB) product review

  • 3 years of experience leading or managing crossfunctional projects

  • Ability to identify plan develop and execute business plans and technical strategies

  • Ability to coach teammates on business plans technical strategies and help develop their problemsolving skills
