Job Description
The ideal candidate will reside in the Ann Arbor MI area. The territory includes the Midwest and other areas as needed.
Grow with Us Your Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional customer careand build positive relationships with customers
- In the event of an issue you will provide technical support to customers
- Tie the workflow to the scheduleto minimizeunnecessary travel. Travel to customers by ground train and air transportation as needed
- You will provide training to customers on the essential use and operation of Bio Analytics instruments
- Performfieldservicecalibrationand installation of complex mechanical systems and perform preventative maintenanceand field sterilizations
- One of your tasks will be to assist with resolving IT issues related to Bio Analytics system installations. Follow all the companys procedures and protocols as well as perform software updates/upgrades
- Assist in drafting documentation of process and procedure as required
- Keep accurate records via written and paper form and keep a precise count of parts assigned to the engineer
- Regularly you will be asked to produce timely accurate and detailed service reportsand prepare customerfacing estimates of repairs
- Pass along identified leads to the sales manager
- Travel to our Ann Arbor MI Fremont CA andadditionalfacilitiesand sitesfortrainingandconferencesas needed
- All other duties as assigned by management
- Expect up to 90% overnight travel to support Field Service activities in the Midwest supporting Wisconsin Illinois Michigan Ohio Indiana Kentucky Tennessee with support in additional regions of NA.
- Lift items that weigh up to 35 Kg
What Will Convince Us
- Associates degree in engineering or military training certificationsand/or 5 years of proven field service experience
- 3 years of field service experiencein the BioPharmaceutical industry
- You can troubleshoot testrepairand service technical equipmentwithexcellent mechanicalelectricaland IT skills
- You have a valid Drivers License
- Proficient with MS Office software including Outlook Word and Excel

- Completion of a bachelors degree in mechanical engineering biomechanical engineering biomedical engineeringor a related field
- Familiarity with mobile tools and applications
