Major Responsibilities:
Deliver noncredit Industrial Sewing classes as assigned.
Instruct classes as assigned at worksite and/or campus locations within programming designed to meet specific company training and production objectives.
Teaching load is dictated by project or projects not by credit hour production.
Work a flexible schedule as dictated by client company training demand.
Maintain records on student attendance progress and skills mastery.
Develop or adapt instructional materials as necessary for the effective delivery of curriculum.
Assist in the identification of facility equipment and materials needs in the classroom.
Participate in training and professional development as needed.

Minimum Qualifications:
Must have expertise in industrial sewing and garment production with the ability to convey knowledge through handson instruction.
Must demonstrate competency with industrial sewing equipment including threading operating and troubleshooting machines such as lockstitch overlock and coverstitch.
Must have strong working knowledge of current safety protocols quality control practices and production documentation.
Prior experience in sewing instruction workforce training or manufacturing is highly desirable.
Conducts all activities with an appreciation and respect for the diversity of people styles and culture.
