Evergreen Innovation Group part of the DPR Family of Companies is seeking aLow Voltage Technicianto join our team inRichmond VA.
Low Voltage Technicians are responsible for installing cables and wires correctly to ensure the systems function properly. They do that by carrying out several duties and responsibilities including:
- Understanding of wiring and electronic systems
- Ability to read blueprints schematics and other diagrams used to explain systems
- Safetyminded with attention to detail
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Familiarity with electrical building codes
- Ability to use power tools
- Preparing estimates for new projects
- Running and connecting wiring and cables for lowvoltage electronics systems
- Organizing and labeling the lines
- Testing and troubleshooting various lowvoltage systems
- Performing routine maintenance on the electronics
- Instructing clients on how to use the systems once theyre installed
- Documenting the work they do on each project
To qualify for this exciting opportunity you should possess:
2 Years of Relevant Experience as a Low Voltage TechnicianYour substantial experience as an electrician in construction will be invaluable to our team.
Drivers License and Clean Record:Youll need these to get to our exciting projects with our vehicles.
Strong Work Ethic and Positive Attitude:We value individuals who are passionate about their work and bring a cando spirit to the team.
Desire to Learn:In our everevolving industry a willingness to acquire new skills and embrace emerging technologies is highly valued.
