Job Description

Associate Sales Specialist

Specialists work alongside our sales team to bring our newest Core & Companion products to market; today our team is focused on Service Hub Operations Hub and Breeze Intelligence. The core role of a Specialist is to help our sales team close deals by providing specialized consultative expertise that helps our customers solve their business needs with our tools. Specialists do this through a combination of internal prep work customerfacing meetings customized demos and solution building. While the role is part of PreSales the Sales Specialist team is a quotacarrying sales organization that is compensated based on monthly performance.

Your Role at HubSpot

As a Sales Specialist you will work with our sales reps to answer questions strategize on opportunities and take live sales calls for Service Hub Operations Hub and Breeze Intelligence. Your role is expected to add value to the sales experience by helping businesses understand the value of our emerging product lines.

The sales reps youll align with expect you to be a subject matter expert on our Operations Service and Breeze Intelligence products the competitive market and how HubSpot solves for the customer. Youll be expected to advise on best practices for setting up implementing and succeeding with our tools and help customers understand how they all work together.

We win as a team so your compensation will be based on a team target for 2025.

Responsibilities of an Associate Sales Specialist:

  • Collaborate with sales reps through product exploration discovery & demonstration calls with prospects.
  • Always be learning about our Service/Operations/Breeze Intelligence products as it evolves & the market around us.
  • Be a point person for asynchronous deal strategy and opportunity management.
  • Consult on complex use cases and make product recommendations via Slack
  • Create resources and enablement for frequently asked questions.
  • Help reps identify goodfit opportunities in their territories for upselling our products.
  • Close both new business and install base at or above a predefined number on a monthly cadence.
  • Be betatolerant. Our platform is always evolving so its important to be tolerant of software changes as you go to market.
  • Always be learning. HubSpot provides many toptier learning opportunities and we expect you to constantly seek improvement in your skills.

Cash compensation range:USD Annually

The cash compensation above includes base salary ontarget commission for employees in eligible roles and annual bonus targets under HubSpots bonus plan for eligible roles. In addition to cash compensation some roles are eligible to participate in HubSpots equity plan to receive restricted stock units (RSUs). Some roles may also be eligible for overtime pay. Individual compensation packages are based on a few different factors unique to each candidate including their skills experience qualifications and other jobrelated reasons.
