There is an open position in the Georgetown Public : Teacher MathematicsLOCATION: Georgetown Middle SchoolSUPERVISOR: PrincipalANNUAL SALARY: Salary and benefits per Georgetown Education Association DATE: August 25.2025WORK YEAR: 184 days the school year & professional development daysIDEAL CANDIDATE:The ideal candidate should:Be energetic motivated individual to work with collaboratively with the grade level team a strong background in the content area Be passionate and enthusiastic educator who can motivate students to discover their creative experience in working with middle school students in a public school setting preferredKnowledge of curriculum frameworksAble to take direction from subject SupervisorAble to work with both Middle and High School studentsAble to assess students and effectively plan instructionPossess excellent communication organizational and interpersonal skillsAbility to successfully collaborate with communication interpersonal and organizational skills are a to take direction from subject SupervisorJOB REQUIREMENTSBachelors Degree required Masters Degree in Massachusetts as Middle School Mathematics teacher requiredSALARY & BENEFITSPer agreement between the Georgetown School Committee and Georgetown Education for health insuranceContractual sick days and personal days
