Job Description
Job Title: Senior Backend Developer (Rust) Contract
Location: Remote
Contract Duration: 2 Months
Shift Timing: 2 pm 11 pm
Job Summary:
We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Backend Developer with strong expertise in Rust to join our team on a shortterm contractual basis. This is a remote handson development role requiring deep backend experience and productionlevel proficiency in Rust.
Responsibilities:
Design develop and maintain scalable backend services using Rust
Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to implement APIs and backend features
Optimize system performance and ensure reliability under load
Conduct code reviews and enforce best practices
Deliver highquality code within a fastpaced 2month project timeline
Requirements:
8 years of overall backend development experience
Strong handson experience with Rust in production systems (musthave)
Solid understanding of software architecture design patterns and system integration
Experience with REST APIs microservices and asynchronous programming
Familiarity with relational and/or NoSQL databases (e.g. PostgreSQL Redis)
Comfortable working independently and delivering in tight timelines
Experience with CI/CD pipelines and containerized environments is a plus
Excellent communication and problemsolving skills
Nice to Have:
Prior experience in fastpaced contract or consulting roles
Exposure to cloud platforms like AWS GCP or Azure
