We are supporting a respected and expanding law firm in the Bury/Rochdale area in their search for a talented Private Client Solicitor to join their Wills Trusts and Probate department.
This is an exciting opportunity for a solicitor (NQ 3 years PQE) looking to build a longterm career within a forwardthinking firm offering genuine career progression including the potential to develop and lead the department in future.
The Role:
You will manage a varied caseload of private client matters including:
Drafting Wills and assisting with Will preparations
Estate administration and applying for Grants of Probate
Advising clients on inheritance tax estate planning and trust structures
Preparing and administering trusts
Creating Lasting Powers of Attorney and Court of Protection applications
Legal research client correspondence and content writing for social media
Supporting senior colleagues on complex cases
Managing your own caseload with supervision and maintaining strong client relationships
What Were Looking For:
Qualified Solicitor or Legal Executive with up to 3 years PQE (strong paralegal or trainee experience also considered)
Excellent communication skills and a high level of attention to detail
Confidence in managing client relationships and working independently
Knowledge of relevant legislation and procedures within private client law
Commercially aware with the ability to meet targets and deadlines
A clientfirst approach with professionalism empathy and discretion
Experience with highnetworth clients or complex estates is advantageous
Desirable:
STEP qualification or membership of the Association of Lifetime Lawyers
Experience in business development or networking
An innovative mindset with a collaborative teamoriented approach
