Job Description
Graduate of a masters program and an interest in practicing in health care administration. In lieu of a masters degree applicants may be considered if theyve completed all oncampus didactic requirements of a masters program in health care administration or equivalent.
Compensation:
Pay Rate: $65472 / yearly

Job Description:
The UAB Medicine Administrative Fellowship is a twoyear paid program that develops future health care leaders by providing opportunities to experience and contribute to the operations and management of a large nationally recognized academic medical center in both inpatient and outpatient areas. Fellows have the opportunity to attend board planning executive and staff meetings and they are exposed to operational strategic and governance issues and decisionmaking in order to understand the unique functions and relationships in an academic medicine setting. The Fellowship Executive Committee and fellowship advisors provide mentorship sponsorship leadership development and guidance throughout the fellowship. This structure provides individual fellows with a tailored experience as they develop their career trajectory and specific areas of interest in their second year.
