Licensed A&P Mechanic

We are looking for a Licensed A&P Mechanic to join the Maintenance team. The A&P Mechanics are responsible for positive customer interactions representing Grant in the communities we serve throughout Alaska.
Are you interested in:
- Identifying when maintenance occurs where RII inspections are required; annotate the requirement for RII on work records and ensure that an RII Inspector is notified.
- Reporting inoperative or faulty shop equipment to Plane Captain
- Maintaining adequate general hand tools to properly perform their duties in accordance with 14 CFR 43.13 appendix D.
- Approving aircraft for return to service after scheduled or unscheduled maintenance after receiving approval from MXC.
- Performing all aviation maintenance in accordance with Federal Aviation Regulations to industry best practice and in the interest of safety of flight.
- Participating in company training and is required to understand applicable maintenance related Federal Aviation Regulations Airworthiness Directives and Company Policies.
You preferably have:
- A High School Diploma or equivalent (required).
- Valid drivers license and ability to acquire SIDA badge.
- FAA Mechanic Certificate with A&P authorizations.
- Experience performing maintenance/electrical troubleshooting on one or more of the following aircraft models: C207 GA8 C208B PA31 and BE200.
- Experience with Garmin avionics installation. Inspection maintenance and troubleshooting.
- Knowledge of Grant GOM OpSpecs GMM and AAIP.
- HAZMAT recognition
