Division Specific Information

Now is an exciting time to join our Manufacturing team in Miami OK. Our team is dedicated to ensuring our customers receive the products they need to achieve their scientific goals quickly reliably and safely.

Discover Impactful Work:

As a Environmental Operator I you will be responsible for the manufacturing assembly and/or packaging of Environmental Vials in a controlled environment. You will carry out the production process by closely following the Standard Operating Procedures work instruction documents and blueprints or drawings as they relate to assembly materials handling equipment operation and finished goods packaging.

A day in the Life:

Work safely following all safety requirements

Work diligently following work instruction documents and standard operating procedures

Use your strong attention to detail to assemble products following guidelines blueprints and drawings closely

Record correct and accurate documentation in Production Control Documents

Inspect inprocess and finished products as well as package and pull from archives for product sampling.

Help us get better by actively participating in our PPI (Practical Process Improvements) Lean and Continuous Improvement activities including 5S activities

Help our team to do better by assisting in training coworkers

Other duties as assigned

Keys to Success:

Education

High school diploma or equivalent required.

Experience

Up to 6 months of work experience in manufacturing/production is preferred.

Knowledge Skills Abilities

All employees must be able to read and follow instructions both written and oral

Strong attention to detail

Ability to add subtract multiply and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers common fractions and decimals

Strong verbal/written communication skills; ability to work effectively with crossfunctional teams

Ability to infrequently lift and manipulate up to 40 pounds unassisted

Ability to stand and move about including reaching bending stooping grasping pushing pulling and repetitive motion

Ability to use PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) and understand chemical hygiene including labels and SDS (Safety Data Sheets)

Flexibility/willingness to adapt to operational needs

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision distance vision color vision peripheral vision depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.

Ability to work in a fastpaced controlled environment with additional overtime as required

Physical Requirements / Work Environment

While performing the duties of this job the employee is regularly required to stand.

Regular exposure to wet and/or humid conditions as well as moving mechanical parts.

Specific PPE is required; including gloves hair & beard net safety glasses with no makeup/jewelry and the like
