Major Account Executive API Hub
Were looking for a Major Account Executiveto drive adoption ofAPI Hub within our most strategic enterprise accounts. This is a highimpact role focused on expanding relationships with platform teams developer enablement groups and architects leading largescale API the launch ofAPI Hub SmartBear is unifying our API design testing and portal capabilities into a single extensible platform. As customers increasingly look to consolidate tools and streamline workflows this role is critical in helping them realize value from SmartBears full API lifecycle offering.
Youll be responsible for:
  • Strategic Expansion: Developing account strategies to expand our API footprint and increase product adoption across API Hub (formerly SwaggerHub) which includes API Design Portal Contract Testing and Test.
  • Becoming a Trusted Advisor: Guiding platform and engineering leadersfrom architects to CIOson how API Hub can accelerate their API strategy improve governance and consolidate spend.
  • Driving CrossSell/Upsell: Uncovering and advancing multiproduct sales motions by aligning SmartBears modular offerings to customer use cases.
  • Enterprise Execution: Managing long and complex sales cycles collaborating closely with Solutions Engineering Product and Customer Success to close highvalue opportunities.
  • Market Positioning: Educating customers on SmartBears competitive advantages vs. players like Postman Kong and others while leveraging recent recognition like our 2024 Gartner Leader status.
Were Looking for Someone Who Has:
  • 57 years of successful sales experience including 15 years managing enterpriselevel accounts in SaaS DevOps or API ecosystems.
  • A track record of exceeding quota and driving complex multiproduct deals within Fortune 1000 organizations.
  • Strong executive presence with the ability to build credibility with architects directors VPs and Clevel stakeholders.
  • Experience navigating platform consolidation DevOps transformation or APIfirst initiatives.
  • Proficiency with Salesforce LinkedIn Sales Navigator and other sales tools.
  • A Bachelors degree or equivalent experience.
