We are seeking Seasonal Lead Graphics Technicans team members who play an essential role in the US Open experience.
The Role This dynamic role provides a unique experience by blending creative design and graphics application skills. The Lead Graphics Technician is responsible for overseeing the creation production and installation of all inhouse graphics and signage including overseeing a team of seasonal graphics technicians.

Creative Design & Production
- Create various signage for events including the US Open (e.g. hospitality signs wayfinding signs credential badge boards logos for onsite use fire safety signs and sponsor signs)
- Order and inventory all graphics supplies (ink vinyl tape misc. tools)
- Maintain a daily log of all signs created (quantity size and department)
- Update US Open draw boards daily throughout the tournament
Installation & Logistics
- Facilitate the installation and removal of all inhouse signs
- Assist Parking and Event Operations Teams with wayfinding sign deployment and retrieval for all events
- Maintain a clean and organized Graphics Shop
Team Leadership
- Oversee a team of two seasonal graphics technicians from July to September
- Ensure punctual and presentable shift attendance for all team members
- Perform additional tasks as assigned by Senior Manager Events Operations and Manager Event Operations
Who You Are
- Proficieny in designing layouts for wideformat print applications
- Experienced using Adobe Illustrator
- Experience operating and maintaining largeformat printers/plotters
- Able to learn wideformat printing software (Roland VersaWorks)
- Hold strong Microsoft Office skills (Google application experience is a plus)
- Selfmotivated positive individual who can work under pressure with excellent communication skills
- Handson proactive approach to completing tasks and ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
- Available to work the full duration of the US Open tournament including days nights weekends and extended hours
- Punctual and presentable shift attendance neatly groomed in a clean wellmaintained uniform
What We Offer
Compensation: This is a nonexempt position with an hourly rate of $20.00 $24.00.
Uniforms: Employees will be provided with uniforms to ensure a professional and cohesive team appearance.
Daily Meal Allowance: A meal allowance will be loaded onto your credentials each workday during the US Open allowing you to enjoy meals onsite during your shift.
