About Pear VC:
Pear VC is a toptier earlystage venture capital firm based in Silicon Valley. We specialize in partnering with founders at the preseed and seed stages helping them build iconic companies from the ground up. Our portfolio includes category defining companies like DoorDash Guardant Health Branch Affinity and Gusto. We are handson partners who invest early roll up our sleeves to help founders hire build and scale and were deeply embedded in the startup ecosystem.
Were looking for a Software Engineering Intern to join our team for a handson productfocused role at a toptier VC firm.
This is a rare opportunity to build real products that support both our internal teams and the founders we invest in while gaining direct exposure to the startup ecosystem.
In this role you will:
Build and ship internal and external tools for a range of users (technical and nontechnical)
Work alongside founders building companies inoffice and support them through product solutions
Learn from experienced operators
Get behindthescenes exposure to how startups are evaluated and funded
Strengthen your ability to assess which companies are likely to succeed a critical skill for your future career
Grow your professional network across top founders investors and builders
What were looking for:
Rising sophomore or (ideally) rising junior
Completed at least introductory CS coursework
Strong interest in product development and building for realworld users
Excited to learn in a fastpaced entrepreneurial environment
Passionate about startups technology and making an impact
