Job Description

Familiarity with DESE MA Curriculum Framework Collaborates well with other P.E. Department membersProvides engaging physical education lessons with accommodations/modifications on a daily basis to meet the needs of all learnersProvides a wellstructured lesson using effective best teaching practicesPlans lessons to meet the needs of the whole child including their social emotional wellbeingDifferentiates units of instruction by grade levelDemonstrates a strong understanding of the developmental level of elementary school studentsSets classroom expectations and routines from the beginning of the year and revisits as neededMaintains a safe and positive learning environment that is inclusive to all studentsCommunicates professionally with all stakeholders colleagues administration families and studentsMaintains an up to date record book in Aspen Communicates with families on a regular basisPerforms assigned tasks and duties designated by the building principal Has solid work ethics
