Job Description
Experience Level
- 35 years preferred; open to candidates with up to 10 years of experience
- Strong civil litigation backgrounds considered
- Must have recent defenseside experience
Responsibilities
- Employment defense
- Complex singleplaintiff matters involving discrimination harassment and retaliation
- General counseling
- Opportunity to work with public entities: schools universities cities nonprofits (95% public entity defense)
- Seeking someone collaborative reliable and defenseoriented
- Strong writing skills good judgment and ability to manage their own caseload (motions depos trial prep)
- Training provided on billing practices
- Close mentorship and support from a senior employment attorney (Ash)
- Encouraged to develop business
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary: $150K$200K depending on experience
- Bonus: Additional compensation for business development/originations when settled
- Benefits: PPO health insurance dental vision 401(k) with profit sharing and discretionary match details to be provided
