This is an exciting opportunity to join Modernas Revenue Accounting team at a time of accelerated growth and transformation within the biotechnology industry. As Manager Revenue and Collaboration you will be a key contributor in ensuring accurate highquality revenue reporting aligned with US GAAP standards. Your efforts will directly support the companys SEC reporting obligations and SOX compliance while contributing to a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
Reporting to the Director Revenue and Collaboration this role involves close collaboration with FP&A Program Management Procurement and crossfunctional teams. Youll support critical monthend close activities manage collaboration and grant billing processes and strengthen operational finance workflows. Your success will be driven by your ability to adapt quickly solve problems proactively and bring efficiency to complex processesall within a dynamic missiondriven environment.
Heres What Youll Do
Your key responsibilities will be:
Leading the execution of accounting transactions and reconciliations for corporate revenue functions.
Supporting monthly and quarterly financial close cycles ensuring compliance with US GAAP and internal timelines.
Preparing journal entries reconciliations and variance analyses for revenue accounts receivable and deferred revenue.
Collaborating crossfunctionally to ensure timely billing of collaborations and grant programs.
Enhancing financial systems and procedures for scalability and process simplification.
Contributing to financial reporting packages SOX control documentation and audit readiness.
Your responsibilities will also include:
Assisting the Director in refining revenuerelated procedures and analytical tools.
Driving insights through operational finance by partnering with FP&A and program leaders.
Promoting transparency accountability and compliance through consistent closerelated controls.
Supporting transformation efforts across the department to increase agility and efficiency.
Adapting workflows based on evolving business needs and emerging data.

You will be central to modernizing revenue and billing systems helping implement scalable solutions and digital tools that enhance transparency speed and impact across the platform.
Heres What Youll Need (Basic Qualifications)
Bachelors degree in accounting required and CPA preferred
6 years of combined public accounting and/or large public company experience preferably in the biotechnology industry
Strong knowledge of US GAAP and SOX 404
Experience with financial systems including SAP S/4 Hana and Blackline preferred
Knowledge of ASC 606 revenue accounting
Possess strong SOX internal controls background and demonstrated ability to manage and drive a quarterend close process fully compliant under SOX a plus
Experience with financial systems including SAP S/4 Hana Blackline and Concur (or other AP or T&E systems) and Microsoft Suite of products
