Job Description
CONTRACT DATES: August 18 October 10 2025
SALARY (DOE): Based upon the 202526 Negotiated Agreement
The Head Football Coach promotes an appreciation of physical fitness teamwork and sportsmanship. The Head Football Coach provides leadership and supervision for team and individual sports.
Responsibilities:
Assist in the coordination and supervision of the Football program and team.
Promote an appreciation of physical fitness teamwork and sportsmanship.
Assist in the design of a training program and game program.
Assist in the organization and supervision of the coaching staff to assure that the
program is properly implemented.
Communicate effectively with all members of the school district and community.
Work effectively with booster clubs and other community organizations.
Participates in special activities to include parents night banquets awardnights etc.
Performs support tasks such as distributing and maintaining eligibility formsemergency data cards and other related records.
Models nondiscriminatory practices in all activities.
Performs any other related duties as assigned by the Head FootballCoachAthletic Director or Building Principal; or other appropriate administrator.
Job Qualifications:
Previous experience as an Assistant Footballcoach at the high school or college level preferred. Must possess effective coaching techniques and skills. Must possess knowledge of the rules regulations strategies and techniques of the sport. Must possess the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with school administrators parents and students.
Supervision Received: This position is directly supervised by the Head Coach.
