Department: Assemblies of God Theological Seminary
Division: AGTS Initiatives
Reports to: Director of Rural Ministries Initiatives
Job Classification: Fulltime salary that requires flexibility and some travel.
Job Summary: The Coordinator of the Ministry in Rural Areas and Small Towns Initiative will oversee the development and implementation of educational programs and resource initiatives for this Lillyfunded initiative. This includes regular communication program coordination and detailed tracking of all grant initiative activities and stakeholders.
Mission Statement: As a Pentecostal community of scholarship the mission of AGTS is to form servants who lead equip the church and reach the world for Christ.
Responsibilities:
- Work as a liaison with the Marketing Department on detailed requests for the Rural Resource Website and print pieces.
- Connect students and rural churches for internship opportunities.
- Develop communicate and promote a resource hub website and direct resources to churches in rural and small towns.
- Track grant expenses internally and externally and manage internal invoice processes.
- Assist with the organization of annual subgrant applications and the gathering of annual reporting from subgrantees.
- Manage appointment schedules and communication for the director and assist with travel arrangements.
- Help with student enrollment for rural pastoral cohort certificates and assist with class organization details and content editing.
- Manage calendar of grant events including partner events for the resource website.
- Collect and curate stories from partners and surveys for the resource website.
- Arrange for all grant purchase orders bookstore orders duplicating services and check requests.
- Perform other duties as requested by the Director of Rural Initiative.
