Job Description
Our client is a performance marketing powerhouse dedicated to delivering exceptional results through innovative marketing solutions. They are seeking an experienced and dynamic Controller to join their finance team. The ideal candidate will be handson thrive in a fastpaced environment and possess strong capabilities in managing working capital. The Controller will oversee financial reporting ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and contribute to the overall financial strategy of the organization.
Position Responsibilities:
- Manage and lead the accounting team in daytoday operations ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.
- Oversee and mentor a team of accounting professionals fostering a collaborative and highperformance work environment.
- Oversee working capital management including cash flow forecasting and optimization of financial resources.
- Prepare and analyze financial reports ensuring compliance with ASC 606 (Revenue Recognition) and ASC 842 (Leases).
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to provide financial insights and support strategic decisionmaking.
- Maintain and enhance financial controls and procedures to mitigate risks and ensure accuracy.
- Implement and optimize financial systems and processes with experience in NetSuite preferred.
- Stay uptodate with industry trends and regulatory changes ensuring compliance with applicable standards.
- Foster a culture of accountability and continual improvement within the finance team.
Position Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance or a related field; CPA preferred.
- 10 years of accounting experience with a strong background in public accounting.
- Proven experience with financial reporting and managing working capital.
- Familiarity with ASC 606 and ASC 842 accounting standards.
- Strong proficiency in financial software specifically NetSuite and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Excellent analytical organizational and problemsolving skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fastpaced environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Passion for accounting and commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
