What you bring to SBHG:
Masters Degree in psychology social work or other related mental health field
Registered with the Board of Behavioral Science as an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist (AMFT) or Associate Clinical Social Worker (ACSW)
Valid CA Drivers License
Meets agency driver eligibility criteria
BLS CPR/First Aid
How you will make a difference:
The MHS II is a clinical treatment team member who is also responsible for providing direct care to meet the physical and psychosocial needs of the clients through direct and indirect physical and verbal interaction. Duties are performed under direct supervision of the Clinical Supervisor but some tasks are accomplished independently. This position assesses clients at start of treatment (reviews as needed) develops and maintains treatment plans and conducts family collateral and discharge planning.
Division/Program Overview:
The Crisis Residential is a shortterm voluntary residential facility designed to help adults aged 18 and older experiencing a psychiatric crisis to safely stabilize recover and transition back to the community. Services include therapeutic and mental health services rehabilitation and recovery services (including substance use rehabilitation) prevocational or vocational counseling medication evaluation and support daily exercise and health/wellness education and crisis intervention.
