LOCATION: Austin TX 78728
1st SHIFT:6:00am 2:30pm; Tuesday Saturday
FULL TIME: Benefits Eligible
In this role you will:
- Open and verify check shipper sample types and ensure empty
- Complete Specimen receipt logs
- Specimen Receipt and forward problem samples/orders to exception handling
- Identify Issues (Ordering Labeling Specimen)
- Aliquoting of samples
- Discard Archive (All of storage components)
- End of shift checklist: benches staging and archiving units shippers biohazard bins
All you need is:
- Associate Degree or Phlebotomy Certification with High School Diploma
- Strong reading writing and analytical skills
- Typing proficiency including 10key
- Ability to work in a fastpaced environment
Bonus points if youve got:
- Bachelors Degree in a biological science or certification in a medical program technologist program
- 2 years of laboratory training or experience in specimen collection and processing
- Data entry experience in a laboratory production environment
