JOB SUMMARY
The University of Connecticut School of Nursing is seeking applications to fill a fulltime 11month Assistant/Associate Clinical Professor Graduate Track Director Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) position.
Under the direction of the Associate Dean of Graduate Studies the faculty member will serve as the Graduate Track Director (GTD) of Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) track. In this role the Director will fulfill the mission of the University of Connecticut School of Nursing (UConn SON) by supervising instruction and course development of the PMHNP track and work with other GTDs in the MS Programs graduate tracks and instructional designers to construct dynamic online courses and nationally focused clinical precepted experiences that align with professional nursing accreditation standards guidelines practices competencies and the UConn SON mission and values.
The PMHNP Graduate Track Director will: (1) Provide graduate tracklevel leadership for curriculum planning; (2) Identify course outcomes and evaluation metrics for assessments; (3) Participate in the development and ongoing monitoring of faculty and student processes within the PMHNP track and (4) Assist with clinical placement process and clinical practice experience.
UConns School of Nursing is among the top Nursing Schools nationwide. Faculty members actively engage in research in health equity across the lifespan; social determinants of health; parentchild health: support for people with acute and chronic conditions including symptoms and selfmanagement; and biobehavioral studies of sleep and pain. The School of Nursing offers the opportunity for faculty to engage with multiple centers including the Center for Advancement of Pain Management; The Nursing and Engineering Innovation Center; and the International Center for Lifestory Innovations and Practice. The Schools Biobehavioral Laboratory provides a wet lab and resources to support behavioral research.

This is an 11month nontenure track position with an anticipate start date of August 23 2025. The successful candidates primary academic appointment will be at the Storrs campus with the possibility of work at UConns regional campuses across the state. Salary and rank will be commensurate with qualifications.
