Sr. Principal, Cloud & Middleware Architecture

Summary of Position:

Cloud Computing Architecture focuses on cost/benefit analysis to determine the financial operational and technical feasibility of adopting external cloud based IT platform and infrastructure services including: Platformasaservice (PAAS) that provides a scalable platform for application development and deployment including software development tools that provide readymade functionality for common application development tasks and outsourcing of system administration tasks Infrastructureasaservice (IAAS) that provides scalable IT infrastructure including servers security devices infocommunications networking mass storage and associated systems software Evaluating the cost/benefit of cloud vs. virtual private networks vs. dedicated hosting vs. in house solutions and identifying portions of the organizations IT platform/infrastructure with the highest potential return for cloud deployment Managing the implementation of cloud services and integrating with inhouse applications and systems.

As a Sr. Principal Cloud & Middleware Architecture you will be trusted to guiding the technical vision design and implementation of advanced cloudbased and middleware architectures. You will ensure that cloud and middleware systems are optimized for performance scalability and security while enabling interoperability between software applications across the organization at Bangalore IN.

Key Responsibilities:

• Leads the technical vision and design decisions of cloudbased and middleware architectures that align with business objectives and drive digital transformation.
• Develops proofofconcept solutions architectural diagrams and specifications in response to business needs
• Oversees the development of solutions that ensure scalability performance and security enabling system interoperability across various software applications.
• Provide technical leadership to architecture teams guiding the implementation of innovative cloud and middleware solutions.
• Collaborate with senior leadership to ensure that architecture strategies align with business goals and digital transformation efforts.
• Continuously assess emerging technologies and evaluate their impact on the organizations cloud and middleware architectures
• Develops and maintains operational KPIs and SLAs ensuring all services are delivered within performance and financial targets with a focus on reducing Total Cost of Ownership (TCO).
• Leads the development of technology strategies for futureproofing the infrastructure focusing on scalability efficiency and alignment with business goals.
• Plays a critical role in shaping the organizations cloud and middleware architecture strategies influencing operational efficiency and digital transformation.
• Leads highimpact architecture initiatives ensuring that the platforms support business growth and innovation.
• Significant decisionmaking authority in determining the direction of cloud and middleware architecture strategies.
• Extensive experience in cloud computing architecture and middleware design.
• Expertise in security performance and scalability for cloud and middleware solutions.
• Experience with DevOps practices and tools.
• Experience with security and audit tooling including Security Hub Cloudtrail Cloudfront and Audit Manager.

Key Requirements/Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelors Degree or Equivalent years of directly related experience (or high school15 yrs; Assoc.11 yrs; M.S.4 yrs; PhD3 yrs)
• 11 years of total experience.
• 7 years of relevant experience as a Cloud Engineer Cloud Designer Sr. DevOps Analyst or similar role.
• Strong leadership and strategic thinking skills with the ability to guide large teams and initiatives.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for collaborating with crossfunctional teams and business stakeholders.
• Extensive experience with AWS and Azure cloud platforms.
• Experience with Control Tower CI/CD pipelines Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools preferred Terraform.
• Strong scripting skills in Python and Javascript.
• Strong understanding of cloud principles practices and technologies.
• Excellent problemsolving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Relevant certifications such as AWS Solutions Architect DevOps Engineer; Microsoft Certified: Azure Solution Architect.
• The ability to fluently read write understand and communicate in English
