Job Summary
Synechron is seeking a motivated VCS Engineer to join our IT Operations team. This role is essential for providing technical support and maintaining the stability and efficiency of Synechrons IT infrastructure. The VCS Engineer will collaborate with the IT Operations team to ensure seamless functioning of IT systems and contribute to the organizations business objectives by delivering effective and efficient technical support.
Software Requirements
- Required:
- Proficiency in systems administration and network protocols
- Experience with ITIL framework and best practices in IT operations
- Preferred:
- Familiarity with cloud technologies and database management systems
Overall Responsibilities
- Provide technical support and resolve technical issues for Synechrons employees.
- Monitor and maintain the stability and efficiency of Synechrons IT infrastructure.
- Ensure timely resolution of service requests and incidents.
- Participate in the implementation of new IT systems and infrastructure projects.
- Collaborate with the IT Operations team to identify and resolve technical issues and improve processes.
- Maintain uptodate knowledge of new technologies and advancements in IT Operations and Technical Support.

- 8 years of experience in IT Operations Technical Support or a related field.

DaytoDay Activities
- Provide technical support and troubleshoot issues for Synechrons employees.
- Conduct regular meetings with the IT Operations team to review system performance and address issues.
- Participate in project planning and implementation of IT infrastructure updates.
- Prepare deliverables including technical documentation and incident reports.
- Exercise decisionmaking authority to resolve IT operational issues promptly.
Qualifications
- Required: Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field.
- Preferred: Certifications in ITIL or relevant IT operations courses.
