Level 1: Estimated hourly base pay: $18.73 (minimum) $23.41 (midpoint) $28.09 (maximum) Plus shift differential and overtime
Level 2: Estimated hourly base pay: $20.92 (minimum) $26.15 (midpoint) $31.38 (maximum) Plus shift differential and overtime

Are you ready to make your mark If youre a CNC Lathe machinist we have an exciting opportunity for you on 2nd shift at our Loves Park Campus in Loves Park IL. What You Will Be Doing
Setting up and operating machines including but not limited CNC lathes (Mori Seiki Mori VMC Tong Tai TMU) secondary operations including hones ID and OD grinders.
Using company specific databases and systems to locate work instructions.
Performing manufacturing processes on various aluminum valves and pistons from bar stock
Reading blueprints and interpreting GD&T to verifying products are in spec to customer and company requirements.
Documenting processes and using inspection equipment (calipers mics gauges CMM inspection equipment.
Moderate physical activity requiring agility and dexterity including walking standing or bending; and lifting or moving objects up to 20 pounds. Note: Some product lines have heavier lifting requirements due to product type.
Ability to stand for entire shift.
Work is performed in an area with moderate risk or discomfort that may require special safety precautions such as wearing protective clothing or gear.
May be required to pass Near vision and/or Color vision examinations
What We Are Looking For
Previous CNC Setup and operations experience is highly preferred
Previous CNC or grinding experience is highly desired
Knowledge and ability to read and interpret blueprints is strongly preferred
Willing to learn new and challenging processes and techniques
Able to communicate effectively both written and oral to all levels of personnel
Good time management and organizational skills
Basic computer skills (email data entry etc.)
Minimum Requirements
Level 1:
High school diploma or equivalent
Level 2:
High school diploma or equivalent
1 year of experience in a similar role is required
