In this position...
Reporting directly to the PD Indirect Engineering Efficiency Chief Engineer this position plays a key role in supporting the identification development and implementation of projects and processes designed to help Ford PD meet its cost objectives specifically through the auditing of Lump Sum ED&T and Alert Invoices within a lean focused environment. A significant part of the role involves direct interaction with key internal partners such as Finance Purchasing PD Functions and Transformation Teams as well as external partners like suppliers engaging with them at both working and Senior levels. The individual in this role will be responsible for defining and driving Audit Team deliverables providing support for senior management reportouts when required. Furthermore the position entails partnering closely with key operating stakeholders to effectively manage crossfunctional dependencies leveraging the internal expert network to help drive solutions. Finally the role includes owning the assessment of project status to support leanbased metrics and diligently tracking benefits and metrics in collaboration with key finance counterparts.
