Role Overview
Vanderlande Industries North America seeks a Site HSE Manager to lead safety initiatives on our Parcel and Amazon business projects. In this role you will oversee the safety and compliance of installation projects for baggage handling automation and parcel sortation systems. Collaborating with fulltime employees (FTEs) clients contractors and project teams you will ensure adherence to safety standards and regulatory requirements during all phases of engineering procurement construction (EPC) and commissioning.
In this position you will be working with the contractor and subcontractors HSE professionals and the project teams to manage the safety and compliance of the installation of baggage handling automation or parcel sortation system. You will be responsible for the overall site management and ultimately for the safety of our highquality installation project teams contractors and subcontractors as they perform the project for our customers. You will promote Safe Base as a core value ensure compliance with all VI HSE programs and requirements and show leadership in promoting safety. Ensure that sites perform required periodic inspections training and documentation.
This highly billable role (85%) is pivotal in maintaining enhanced safety outcomes fostering trust and ensuring a safer project environment while driving continuous improvement initiatives to reduce risks and ensure regulatory compliance.
