Our client is a global leader in nextgeneration telecommunications technology is seeking a skilled Baseband Systems & AI Expert to join its R&D team in Stockholm. The company delivers advanced wireless solutions to major network operators worldwide and is investing heavily in AIdriven innovation for future wireless standards.
Role Overview
As a Baseband Systems & AI Expert you will be at the forefront of integrating AI into the architecture of nextgeneration wireless products. Youll play a central role in shaping AI features at the physical layer developing systemlevel simulations and collaborating closely with crossfunctional teams to evaluate performance and define future system architectures.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze wireless baseband use cases and identify AIdriven enhancements for nextgen products.
- Design develop and run systemlevel simulations to evaluate architecture impacts and radio performance.
- Study AI algorithms and features relevant to baseband systems; contribute to system requirement definition.
- Propose and assess architectural alternatives for wireless systems using AI.
- Collaborate with algorithm developers hardware/software engineers and RAN/BTS system teams.
- Lead technical studies and contribute to longterm innovation strategy.
Required Qualifications
- 7 years of experience in wireless communications preferably with expertise in PHY layer technologies (3GPP NR).
- Solid understanding of AI applications in RAN or wireless systems.
- Proficiency in C/C Python Matlab and simulation environment development.
- Handson experience designing or operating systemlevel simulations for wireless and/or AI applications.
- Advanced degree (. or Ph.D.) in Electrical Engineering Computer Science or a related field.
