Job Description
MalaceHR is seeking a reliable handson Custodial Supervisor to oversee and support a team of 4 custodians. The ideal candidate will be responsible for both supervising staff and performing routine and specialized cleaning tasks to ensure a clean safe and organized environment for our client s facility.
Key Responsibilities

Supervise train and lead a team of 4 custodial staff

Perform daily cleaning tasks such as sweeping mopping dusting trash removal and restroom sanitation

Conduct quality checks and inspections to ensure high standards of cleanliness

Maintain cleaning supply inventory and submit restocking requests as needed
-
Assist in scheduling and ensure appropriate coverage for shifts

Address performance issues and provide feedback/coaching to staff

Ensure compliance with all safety procedures and company policies

Serve as the primary point of contact for onsite custodial concerns
Qualifications
-
High school diploma or GED required
-
2 years of custodial or janitorial experience with at least 1 year in a leadership role preferred

Ability to perform physical labor including lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for extended periods
-
Strong communication and organizational skills

Ability to lead a team and work independently with minimal supervision

Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and equipment
