Job Description
We are an independent music company based in Berlin actively engaged in label publishing and artist management. Driven by a genuine passion for music we are dedicated to discovering and nurturing talent working closely with artists and songwriters across a wide range of genres.
Our record label represents acclaimed acts such as SXTN Juju Ely Oaks Chapo102 102 Boyz LAVINIA and 2 Engel & Charlie. We are behind several charttopping and certified releases including the #1 hit Vermissen (feat. Henning May) the platinum single Kein Wort and gold and platinum records like Von Party zu Party and Bongzimmer.
Our publishing division is home to a diverse roster of successful songwriters and producers who have contributed to gold and platinum hits by both national and international artists including Charli XCX KAROL G Bebe Rexha Tsto Alan Walker The Chainsmokers and Lost Frequencies as well as Nina Chuba KUMMER Kraftklub Bausa Tream Casper and Raf Camora.
Beyond our work in label and publishing we also frequently take on artist management providing holistic support to help our talent thrive artistically and professionally.
Tasks
- You are constantly on the lookout for national and international talent in the dance music scene recognizing their potential and supporting their longterm career development.
- You work across both our label and music publishing divisions.
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with artists songwriters and their teams is part of your daily business as are professional contract negotiations.
- You discover new artists through global music scenes social media and all relevant platforms.
- You stay on top of current trends on TikTok and other platforms proactively reaching out to potential artists and business partners.
- In close collaboration with producers songwriters and management teams you help bring projects to life and drive them to success.
Requirements
- Initial relevant experience in A&R music management or within a label or publishing environment.
- You have a solid understanding of the music industry a sharp instinct for trends and a strong professional network.
- You are familiar with contract types such as licensing agreements artist deals or joint ventures.
- You are digitally savvy and wellversed in platforms like TikTok.
- Confident use of MS Office.
- Excellent German language skills and businessfluent English.
- You enjoy working as part of a team contribute your own ideas and approach tasks with strong commitment.
- You feel at ease working directly with artists and are familiar with the dynamics of the artist environment.
- You present yourself with confidence communicate clearly and approach conversations with empathy and tact.
- You work in a structured way think proactively and are happy to take on responsibility.
- Openness and authenticity come naturally to you you adapt easily to different people and situations.
