Job Description
At our busy Pied Piper Nursery we are looking for a very experienced practitioner who has managed a room and teams with experience of supporting the quality and curriculum within the room. This role is supporting the Quality within our rooms working alongside the room leaders to ensure that there is best practice through out the room. Working 38 hours a week salary is up to 32200 depending on qualifications and experience.
Part of the CC Nurseries Group our nursery is ideally situated in a quiet area close to Shawlands train station and Shawlands shopping centre. This location allows us to offer a quiet and calming space for children. to explore at their own pace. At Pied Piper our caring and passionate team believe in nurturing children with real life hands on experiences. With outdoor resources where possible. We offer an extensive outdoor area with a unique and inspiring sensory shed and creative studio giving children of all ages the opportunity to discover and experiment as they learn and grow. We understand each child is different and we want to provide children with a unique experience that works for them with our quality team resources and environment.

Requirements
As Quality Lead Room Manager you will:
Provide stimulating and purposeful experiences environments and resources to children that are appropriate to their age and stage of development
Enhance the allaround daily needs of children including their physical intellectual social and emotional development
Promote respect and credibility for this position by leading as a role model with impartiality and consistency
Assist with embedding an effective key person approach to enable children to form secure attachments and identify training or development needs for staff.
Ensure the safety and wellbeing of every child staff parent and visitor always
Understand and ensure that the requirements of the Curriculum for Excellence are met
You will need to have a Level 3 / SCQF 7 Early Years Qualification a minimum of 3 years working in a Nursery Setting and 1 years experience in a leadership role.
