Job Title: Senior Associate Legal (FirstParty Property)
Location: Miami Office Onsite
Reports To: Managing Partner
Position Type: Fulltime Exempt
About the Role:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Associate Attorney to join our growing firm. This role is ideal for a motivated litigator with 7 10 years of experience and a strong background in firstparty property insurance litigation preferably coming from the defense side.
As a Senior Associate you will take a leadership role in managing cases supervising junior attorneys and representing policyholders in disputes against insurance companies. This is a fastpaced handson position offering courtroom experience management responsibility and a supportive team culture.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage firstparty property insurance cases from intake to resolution.
- Represent policyholders in hearings depositions mediations and trials (as first or second chair).
- Supervise train and mentor junior attorneys and support staff.
- Delegate tasks effectively and ensure case progression.
- Conduct legal research draft pleadings motions and discovery responses.
- Maintain a high level of client communication and advocacy.
- Collaborate closely with partners on complex litigation strategies.
- Uphold firm values of professionalism humility and clientcentered service.
Requirements
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree and active license to practice law in Florida.
- 5 10 years of litigation experience preferably in:
- Firstparty property insurance
- Insurance defense
- Personal injury litigation
- Commercial litigation (contract law knowledge a plus)
- Trial experience.
- Strong organizational decisionmaking and leadership skills.
- Ability to pivot between tasks and handle a highvolume fastmoving caseload.
- Comfortable supervising and delegating work.
- No book of business required (but welcomed if available).

- Strong sense of humor and ability to stay grounded under pressure.
