Job Description

The Head of Technical will lead and oversee all technical operations ensuring highquality delivery of products/services continuous improvement of systems and processes and alignment with organizational goals. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong leadership and handson technical expertise.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the technical team (engineers technicians and specialists).
  • Oversee the planning design and implementation of technical projects and systems.
  • Develop and enforce technical standards processes and best practices.
  • Monitor and ensure compliance with industry regulations and safety standards.
  • Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to align technical operations with business goals.
  • Manage maintenance and upgrade of equipment machinery or technical tools.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve highlevel technical issues.
  • Analyze project data and performance to drive innovation and efficiency.
  • Mentor and train technical staff to build a highperforming team.
  • Recommend and manage technical budgets tools and resources. and manage the technical team (engineers technicians and specialists).

Requirements

  • Bachelors degree in engineering (electrical mechanical) Masters is an added advantage.
  • Minimum of 7 years experience in a technical/engineering leadership role.
  • Strong understanding of insert industryspecific knowledge e.g. solar systems manufacturing machinery auto diagnostics.
  • Proven ability to lead technical teams and deliver complex projects.
  • Excellent problemsolving decisionmaking and leadership skills.
  • Strong knowledge of industry standards safety protocols and technical regulations.
