This Sales Specialist creates parts proposals orders and sales confirmations maintaining strong customer relationships and addressing customer requests and issues. Responsibilities include conducting 46 site visits annually processing orders recommending parts sales and coordinating with vendors for pricing. The role also requires managing reports providing competitive pricing and adhering to company policies with possible special projects as assigned.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for generating parts proposals purchase orders and sales order confirmations.
- Develop and maintain exceptional customer relationships in order to fulfill their needs more effectively
- Conduct a minimum of 46 annual customer and/or project site visits
- Serve as parts point of contact for customers; execute requests; address and resolve any issues
- Receive and process customer orders and process accordingly
- Recommend and facilitate the sale of necessary parts
- Interact with business partners and vendors to obtain accurate pricing and information
- Provide timely feedback to management regarding performance.
- Provide timely accurate and competitive pricing on all prospect applications submitted for pricing and approval; while striving to maintain maximum profit margin.
- Maintain accurate purchasing sales and sales quote activity reports
- Adhere to all company policies procedures and business ethics codes
- May be assigned to special projects or required to perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications :
Required:
- Degree AS/BS/BA in Engineering Business or Communications OR Equivalent technical sales or customer support experience
- 1 years inside sales or customer service experience
- Intermediate MS Excel proficiency
- SAPB1 experience would be helpful but not required
- Ability to problem solve and resolve issues quickly
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding all sales activity targets including; prospecting calls appointments presentations proposals and closes.
- Demonstrated ability to provide excellent customer service
- Dedicated team player who can also work independently
- Excellent time management and problemsolving skills; strong attention to detail and the ability to learn quickly
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to handle multiple tasks with competing priorities and work well under pressure with a sense of both urgency and thoroughness
- Professional positive and energetic attitude
- Ability to travel 10% of the time
Desired:
- Experience in one or more of the following areas would be advantageous: material handling; technical or engineered equipment parts.
