Job Description
Facility: 800 sq ft standalone building on a small ranch
Schedule: 24 shifts/week 46 hours per shift
Compensation: $20$25/hour (based on experience)
Type: Independent Contractor
- Substrate Preparation: Sterilize and inoculate substrates in the lab.
- Environmental Monitoring: Maintain optimal humidity temperature and CO levels in grow and fruiting rooms.
- Cultivation Management: Oversee mycelium colonization and fruiting processes.
- Harvesting: Identify and harvest mushrooms at peak maturity.
- Sanitation: Ensure cleanliness of the facility and equipment to prevent contamination.
- RecordKeeping: Document growth cycles yields and any anomalies.
- Quality Control: Inspect mushrooms for quality and prepare them for distribution.
- Experience: Minimum of 1 year in mushroom cultivation or a related field.
- Knowledge: Familiarity with mushroom growth cycles and environmental control systems.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in humid conditions.
- Transportation: Reliable means to commute to the ranch.
- Work Ethic: Detailoriented selfmotivated and capable of working independently.Adobe 31
- Technical Proficiency: Experience with environmental control equipment and data logging.
- ProblemSolving: Ability to troubleshoot cultivation issues effectively.
