Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Custodian I to join our facility maintenance team in Kenner United States. In this role you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness sanitation and overall appearance of our facility while ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for all occupants.
- Maintain cleanliness of assigned areas including hallways lobbies stairways and common areas
- Collect and dispose of trash and debris from designated areas
- Handle proper cleanup of various materials including biohazardous substances following safety protocols
- Deliver and retrieve equipment such as rollaway beds irons and other items as requested
- Stock and maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and linen in designated storage areas
- Perform preventative maintenance on cleaning equipment
- Report any facility maintenance issues or safety concerns to management
- Assist with special cleaning projects as needed
- Follow established cleaning schedules and quality standards
Qualifications :
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum one year of cleaning or janitorial experience preferred
- Physical ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- Capability to lift push and pull up to 100 pounds
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Basic communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Time management skills and ability to prioritize tasks
- Understanding of cleaning chemicals and safety protocols
- Flexibility to work various shifts as needed
- Must be at least AGE years of age
